NCS4000 System is a Network Control System. It can be used in the industrial control environment of large and middle scale, and provides process control,logic control, batch control and other advanced control functions.Not only in the installing of the new automation system the user benefit much from NCS4000 system, but also in the upgrading of the old system. It is widely used in metallurgy,petrol, chemical, power, cement, water treatment and many other industries.

Scale and Capabilities

NCS4000 system is very flexible to use in variable scale applications. By selecting proper I/O modules, the user can build system from several control points to thousands of control points. The user also can add new control functions to NCS4000 system without affecting the existed functions. NCS4000 system supports offline and distributed configurations, so the controller, I/O module or any other devices and control policy can be added to the system although the whole system is running.

•  Support large and middle scale control applications

•  Single controller supports up to 8192 I/O points (can be extended by remote I/O)

•  Minimum scan rate < 100 ms

Open and Digital

NCS4000 system contains several techniques that are designed to construct an open control system. It brings advantage of the different Fieldbus technology and satisfies the user's needs for third party devices, NCS4000 system reduce the costs of the upgrade of the old control system. It supports:

•  High Speed Ethernet (HSE) standards

•  Ethernet for Plant Automation (EPA) standards

•  FF, Profibus DP, AS-i, HART, Modbus and RS485 Fieldbuses.

•  IEC61131-3 programming language

•  Standard OPC and data access interface

Reliability and Safety

Reliability and safety are fully considered by NCS4000 system in complicated environment.

•  Several types of redundancy are supported:

  Network redundancy

  Controller redundancy

  Power redundancy

  I/O module redundancy

•  All the terminal blocks and the backplanes are passive to avoid electric damage.

•  Strict EMC test are performed.

•  NCS4000 real-time database consists of several distributed I/O server. It provides OPC DA interfaces and I/O server can be configured.

•  To improve the mechanical intensity, all the backplanes are made by using PC material.

Device Diagnose and Maintenance

To reduce the costs of the operation and maintenance, NCS4000 system supports device diagnose and maintenance.

•  Device management is supported.

•  Fault diagnose and alert are available.

•  Device status can be checked remotely.

Easy-to-use and Maintainable

Each component of NCS4000 system, such as controller, I/O module and power module, can be plugged freely,there is no matter what the state of power is. Then user can upgrade or extend the system without shutting down.

•  Each component supports hot plug.

•  Terminal block and I/O module are separated to install.

•  High-density terminal block is used.

•  Three types of installation of the backplane are supported: wall installation, U rail installation and G rail installation.
